Custom built dog house for sale.
My farm dogs used it a LOT but now one is too old and the other one is too fat so they mostly stay indoors.
I built this dog house myself about 6 years ago.
It is built with the quality construction of a human home, and is fully insulated all around.
The ceiling and floor are insulated with foam board and the walls are filled with batting.
Inside walls are OSB and joints have been caulked.
The window slides open (from the outside) for ventilation and there are vents on the sides that can be opened or closed.
Each door opening accommodates a large dog.
The center “living room” is for both dogs to sleep in and is blocked from wind by pony walls.
A hooded lamp with a heat bulb hangs in the living room and is surrounded by metal flashing for safety.
The backside has a large access door to make it easy to clean it out or change the bulb.
The design is intended to butt-up against the wall of the owners home.
There a 6 heavy-duty castor wheels on the bottom, some which lock, so it
can be easily moved around.
The floor was built with treated lumber but the castor wheels keep the whole building off the ground anyway.
It measures about 7’x4’ (give or take).

.
I dont recall exactly but I will measure it.
The roof is composition shingles and the wood underneath was painted with an elastomeric coating.
This dog house is extremely heavy and, even with wheels, will require a couple of men and an 8 foot trailer with a ramp.
It's very sturdy and was built to last.
Park it somewhere out of the north wind and your dogs will stay warm and cozy in the winter, and dry and comfortable during summer storms.
If your wife banishes you to the dog house, now that's not a bad thing! 😊
Note: if your dog needs ramps, you will have to provide them.
The ones in the picture are rotted.
(The carpet covering holds water against them.
)
I am flexible on the price but not by much.
I don't NEED to sell it….
I don't even WANT to sell it since I'll never be able to build another one, but it's been sitting unused for a while, and that's a real shame.
This is located near Duncan, Oklahoma.
I have no trailer and no way to deliver it.
My price is $900.
Cash only.
Scammers, you're wasting your time.
Try me anyway and I'll waste it too.
